About Us | The Founder and Visionary

The Founder / Visionary, Valerie Daniel has been envisioning the dream of Faith’s House for over eight years, when it was first laid on her heart. The glimpse to her higher purpose came through an exercise she did during a transformational women’s seminar back in 2000. She walked away knowing what her purpose was, but was too scared to put it into action. Over the years, Valerie kept getting little inspirations and nudges from God letting her know He hadn’t forgotten. One very special day in February 2008 she knew she could not ignore her passion anymore and began to take action. Feeling so inspired, she promised herself she would take each ‘right next step’ trusting that God would provide her with the people, finances, and circumstances that would see this mission manifest in the world.

Valerie’s compassion for the single mom struggle came from being raised by a single mom and then being a single mom herself. She knows the feeling of being stuck in a minimum wage job with little hope for the future. Valerie was grateful that she was able to learn a trade that she is still doing today, some 20 years later.

Her ultimate goal is to provide a home that will enable struggling single moms to further their education without having the added stress of working a full time, low paying job which will take away precious time with their family. Valerie currently lives in Cumming, Georgia with her husband Rob, and their two children, Adam and Faith, and is actively pursuing her dreams.

I joined Faith’s House Board because I was moved spiritually by the passion, commitment and vision of Faith’s House Founder Valerie Daniel. I believe I can help this promising organization meet a great need in Georgia. I was once a single parent and firmly believe that I was able to be successful at raising my son during his early years because I did have an education, career and strong family and friend support system. Serving on this board is an opportunity for me to give back and be a role model for other women.

From the moment Valerie spoke of her vision, I knew I had to be a part of making her vision become a reality. I feel such a deep connection with the potential of what Faith's House can be and the lives it will change and I am so honored that Valerie asked me to be a part of her dream. I know this could have benefited my own mother when she was raising four children and continually striving to better our lives.
