Faith's House | Our Mission Statement
Faith’s House will be a place for single moms with limited life choices to live while pursuing their educational dreams. The Home will provide a safe, nurturing, & spiritual environment -- empowering women to create better lives for themselves and their families. When you educate mothers they see the value & educate their children, which changes family legacies and the world.

We currently sponsor a monthly Single Moms Networking Meeting where we provide a space for single moms to connect with each other and link to community resources.

First LUNAFEST A Success! Read Review

Our first annual Lunafest has come and gone, but the emotions experienced by these great short films will live on in my memory for years! I was happily surprised by the clapping at the end of each film as well as the tears that filled many eyes. From the silly look at how babies are made in THE KINDA SUTRA to the plight of a homeless single mother trying to reunite with her son in ROZ & JOSHUA, there was something in all of the 10 short films to connect our humanness to each other.

As far as the fundraising went, Faith's House profited over $1,000 thanks to our generous sponsors. A special thank you to our main sponsor Brandywine Printing, who printed our tickets, posters, programs, and inserts! Our $250 sponsors were; McCrimmon & McCrimmon, Prism Automotive Services, Williams Benator & Libby, Dianne Johnson Creative Services, Paula Fanelly, Center for Motivation, and Anna McManua. Our $100 sponsors were; Velvet Lime Designs, Cedar Hill Enrichment Center, Age Magerfleisch with Premier Designs Jewelry, & Jesse Spain CMT. A special thanks to BJ's Wholesale club for a $50 gift card to pay for supplies.

We had many cool donations from our sponsors that made up fun silent auctions such as; Inspirational artwork from Velvet Lime Designs, beautiful jewelry from Premier Designs Jewelry, yummy Fresh Friday gift certificates from Cedar Hill, and handwriting / hypnotism services from the Center for Motivation.

I want to give a big round of applause to Faith's House Board members for selling over 70 tickets to Lunafest and helping the day of to put on a great event, the fresh popcorn was a big hit! We hope you join us next season for another chance to be inspired through films made by, for, and about women!
